Shopify x Mr. Beast Heist Experience

Beautiful Machine’s full suite of services underpin a dazzling, immersive fan experience by Set Creative.

Set Creative (a WPP agency) tapped Beautiful Machine to build an immersive pop-up for Shopify and their long-time collaborator Mr. Beast, in celebration of the release of the Feastibles line of chocolate bars in SoHo.

The result was Heist - a raucous, tech-enabled scavenger hunt. Guests searched through the vault of The Collector (Mr. Beast himself) for a random selection of objects in game play led by The Host through multiple rounds of game play, driven by sound and light. Once the group found all objects, they were given access to a secret door that lead to a second room where they jumped into a giant foam pit to search for the elusive Blue Diamond. The guest that found the blue diamond got won a prize, and everyone left with chocolate bars.

Beautiful Machine collaborated with Set Creative’s team to develop the game logic and software. We designed highly integrated sound, lighting and video driven by game play through a custom, centralized game controller with a convenient touch interface for the stage manager. 

In addition to creative technology, we also provided overall technical direction for the event, fabrication oversight, AV hardware & integration, and site supervision.
